Sunday Lake Eddy Park & Campground
Beautiful Sunday Lake is situated in the center of the city of Wakefield and is home to Eddy Park and Campground. The park offers a comfortable sandy beach and swimming area, pavilions available or rent, a boat launch, and a large playground.
The campground features 75 sites for RV or tent camping including many with full water and sewer hookups. Restroom and shower facilities are located on site and the Sunday Lake beach and park are a short walk away.
Reservations can be made by calling the Campground Host directly (906) 224-4481 during the camping season. Hosts are on site from Memorial Day through Mid October of each year. The Camping Season will vary depending on the weather. Reservations are taken at the City Clerk’s office (906) 229-5131 x 1002 from the first regular business day of each year until the campground opens. Campground Payment Methods: US currency only. The City is committed to providing top notch opportunities to our residents and visitors. Since 2014, new water amenities are added to the Swimming Beach each year, that thousands of beach goers have enjoyed. The current amenities include a water trampoline, swimming raft, maui mat, and inflatable two sided pool. The Wakefield Fire Department has also sponsored ResQ Discs that are strategically placed around Sunday Lake for added safety measures with the increased use of the City's facilities.
